The Bridge

The Bridge is a therapeutic children's home that offers care for young people from the ages of 9-17 and focuses on supporting children primarily with Autism and possible mild learning needs some may have emotional and behavioural needs,

The home is situated within the seaside town of Bexhill, and offers the opportunity for children to live within the community, with the home being in a residential area. It has good access to amenities and local activities, access points for public transport and other opportunities for children to progress their independence skills where appropriate.

Every child is offered a bespoke care package following a 12-week assessment conducted by a member of the therapy team, coordinating closely with the care mentors working with the child.

When a child first arrives within our care, the young person will have access to the therapeutic support required to help them develop and thrive.

The Bridge is committed to providing a living environment in which young people and staff are able to realise their full potential and to contribute to the home’s development irrespective of their gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, part-time status, age, religion or belief. We value the differences that a diverse group brings to our home.

All young people will be provided with equal opportunities, with respect and, in return, the staff group expect to be treated in the same way.
